The Many Pathways to Presence: Coming Home to Ourselves and Each Other

What if growth isn't about changing ourselves, but deepening our capacity to be with ourselves and each other just as we are?

This January begins our 2027 Series, which explores the three centers of intelligence (Belly, Heart, and Head) as doorways “home” to presence. These doorways drop us below the habitual surface of our lives into our direct knowing and experience, awakening greater vitality and creative flow.

Each month focuses on a different pathway to presence. The series culminates in an exploration of the Law of Three and the power of all three centers working together.

April Session

What does it mean to truly see ourselves? Our Enneagram type gives us the first hint - we begin where we are. And we bring self-compassion as we say yes to the invitation to dive a bit deeper. Maybe you are familiar with the terms - self observation and self remembering - they get thrown around often in Enneagram education - but what does it really mean to adopt these practices for inner work? Drawing on the teachings of Gurdjieff and Red Hawk, we will explore self-observation and self-remembering as essential practices of inner work. We will learn to recognize our habitual patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving—not to judge or fix ourselves, but to bring greater awareness to the unconscious patterns that often run our lives.

Through practical exercises and shared reflection, we will explore how to cultivate a more compassionate, curious awareness of ourselves, creating space for greater presence, choice, and connection with who we are beyond our personality.

Together, we will:

  • Understand the difference between self-observation and self-remembering and why both are essential to inner work.
  • Recognize how Enneagram patterns operate automatically in everyday thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
  • Practice observing themselves with curiosity and compassion rather than judgment.
  • Experience simple practices for interrupting automatic patterns and returning to present-moment awareness.
  • Begin to trust that we cannot change what we cannot see. And seeing ourselves clearly is itself a practice.

In-person events are not recorded.

Join us for the 2027 Series exploring the three centers of intelligence (Belly, Heart, and Head) as doorways “home” to presence.  Attend one, two, or all five sessions!
