Our bodies hold thoughts, feelings, and memories which we may be completely unaware of on a daily basis. The gift of our bodies is that by utilizing movement and breath work, we can, with regular practice, work through unconscious blockages on a physical level. This opens the door to greater awareness and deeper compassion for ourselves and others.
Learn about what types of movement might be most helpful for various numbers, the power of communal movement, and the key role breath and intention play in helping regulate the nervous system. By tapping into the superpowers of our physical selves, we can burn away what no longer serves us and clear the way toward moments of Essence. Our whole self is required.
This gathering will be predominantly informational, but throughout it, participants will have the option to gently move their bodies (either while seated or standing). This is NOT a yoga class. Nothing extra is needed. Come as you are.
